Regional Procurement Advisory Committee
The Regional Procurement Committee recently held its first meeting of the year.
Valuable discussions took place around the member councils Procurement team's focus for 2025, and different councils shared their unique perspectives. This provided a great opportunity for Procurement Officers to collaborate and gain insights into the different types of regional challenges.
Additionally, the Committee recognised the need for training in construction contract management. To address this, two training sessions will be hosted in June 2025 at Cairns Regional Council.
These sessions will be delivered by Ochre Legal in collaboration with FNQROC and Cairns Regional Council. If any of your team members are interested in attending, please do not hesitate to contact FNQROC.
