At this stage incorporation of the TMR LRRS works program into the general FNQRRG works program still has not occurred however it is hoped this information will be available at this week's Technical Committee meeting.
The Roads Alliance has granted 2/3 subsidy from the Statewide Capability Development Fund for the procurement of bridge asset management software. FNQRRG submitted for three copies – Cairns, Cassowary Coast, Tablelands at an estimated cost of $14,000 each, meaning $9,333 subsidy is available. The estimate of $14,000 included a contingency of $1,000. The Technical Committee meeting will be considering the way forward at this week's meeting.
The funding application for the development of an alternative timber bridge inspection and maintenance manual has been submitted to the Roads Alliance Board for consideration.
The 2012/13 Capability Agreement and Action Plan was adopted by the RRG at its Atherton meeting.
The Roads Alliance Technical Forum is being held on Tuesday 9 October from 9am to 11am within the Road Safety Seminar during the IPWEAQ State Conference at Sheldon Convention Centre, Brisbane.
The RRG Assembly is being held as a breakfast session on Thursday 25 October from 7am to 8.30am during the LGAQ Annual Conference at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
