It was pleasing to see them practise what they preach by utilising recycled crushed glass in concrete footpaths at the MRF.
On behalf of the RWMG I would like to extend a welcome to Donna Graham of Douglas Shire Council, Jaime Guedes of Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Council and Tim Baxter Department of Local Government Community Recovery and Resilience (DLGCRR). It is pleasing to note even though we have just had our fifth meeting, we are beginning to get the buy of all councils and government departments in the region. The networking from the regional meetings and resource sharing will be essential for a strategic approach to Regional Waste Management.
