Scoping Study for a Regional Standard Conditions Template

The scoping study identified which Council's in the region currently have a standard conditions template and the types of conditions that are regularly used by each Council. An analysis of standard condition templates sourced from Cairns Regional Council, Cassowary Coast Regional Council and Tablelands Regional found that there are a number of different approaches being used across the region, however there are similarities in the types of conditions which are considered to be standard.

The preliminary findings of the scoping study and options for the way forward were presented at the last FNQROC Planners' Group meeting on Friday 24 August 2012. It was agreed at the meeting, not to proceed in developing a standard conditions template for the far north region and that FNQROC would assist Cairns Regional Council in the finalisation of its standard conditions template which can then be made available to other FNQROC member Councils.
