Tablelands Regional Council
The Tablelands Regional Council area is located in FNQ about 1,800 kilometeres north of the Brisbane CBD and 100 kilometres west of the Cairns CBD and includes a land area of approx. 11,419 km2 and population of approx. 25,500. The Atherton Tablelands is fast developing a reputation as an outdoor recreation destination, with its refreshing tropical climate, mountains, wide open spaces and safe year-round swimming.
