Cross Regional Hymenachne/Rehabilitation Project

The cross regional hymenachne / rehabilitation project will deliver a systematic plan, consciously adapted and monitored to improve hymenachne management outcomes. Collating existing data on current and potential distribution and status of hymenachne, the project will support the adoption of best management practice on a catchment level with a focus on adaptive management and landscape rehabilitation.

The project will foster links between regional stakeholders by identifying and incorporating management objectives into an inclusive strategy with pledged commitments and long-term goals.

The project will Identify decision-making tools to assist in the identification of priority works and the acquisition and apportionment of funding.

Implement representative projects for waterway rehabilitation aimed at long-term management of hymenachne.

We are pleased to bring you the final draft for stakeholder consultation of the Cross Regional Hymenachne Management Strategy.
